These are less like doorways to me than portals into some beautiful, different and amazing adventure,
I was struck by the very unusual building with the concave circles running up the walls. I’m am architecture buff but I’ve never seen anything like this.

Thanks, Mary! The special thing about these doorways is that they lead into the apartments of ordinary people. Beauty is not reserved for the wealthy in Helsinki! I wish I did have more info. Next time I go to Helsinki (which I’ll try to do!) I’m going to seek out an architectural tour.
